OBJECTIVES

The 28-Day Basic Ayurveda and Panchakarma Course at Ayuryoga Academy is designed to provide participants with a strong foundation in Ayurvedic principles and practical skills in Panchakarma therapies. The key objectives of the course are:

ELIGIBILITY

The 28-Day Basic Ayurveda and Panchakarma Course is designed to be accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds. No prior knowledge of Ayurveda is required.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Age 18 years or above
  • Basic proficiency in English (course is conducted in English)
  • Willingness to participate in both theoretical and practical sessions
  • Physically and mentally fit to engage in daily learning activities and treatments

This course welcomes both national and international participants who are passionate about holistic living and healing.

DURATION

The Basic Ayurveda and Panchakarma Course is a 28-day immersive program conducted daily with a balanced schedule of theoretical classes, practical training, self-study, and guided therapies

SYLLABUS

  • Introduction to Ayurveda – History and Philosophy
  • Basic Concepts: Panchamahabhuta, Tridosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha)
  • Prakriti (Body Constitution) and Vikriti (Imbalance)
  • Dhatus (Body Tissues), Malas (Waste Products), and Agni (Digestive Fire)
  • Srotas (Body Channels) and their importance

 

  • Dinacharya (Daily Routine) and Ritucharya (Seasonal Regimen)
  • Six Tastes (Shad Rasa) and their effect on Doshas

  • Philosophy and purpose of Panchakarma
  • Indications and contraindications for Panchakarma therapies
  • Stages of Panchakarma: Purva Karma (Preparation), Pradhana Karma (Main Procedures), Paschat Karma (Post-care)
  • Role of Panchakarma in preventive and curative care

  • Abhyanga – Ayurvedic full-body oil massage
  • Swedana – Herbal steam therapy
  • Shirodhara – Oil pouring on the forehead
  • Udvartana – Herbal powder massage
  • Nasya – Nasal administration of medicated oils
  • Basti – Introduction to medicated enemas

  • Introduction to Rogi-Roga Pariksha (Examination of Patient and Disease)
  • Pulse Diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha) – Basic level
  • Understanding signs of Dosha imbalance

Assessment & Certification

  • Ongoing practical evaluations
  • Final theory and practical assessment
  • Certificate of Completion from Ayuryoga Academy

SCHEDULE

The programs are tentative and subject to change according to need.

  • 7 am to 8 am – General Yoga Session
  • 8.30 am to 9.30 am – Break fast
  • 10 am to 12 pm – Theory session / Practical session
  • 1 pm to 2 pm – Lunch
  • 2 pm to 3.30 pm – Theory session / Practical session
  • 4 pm – tea break
  • 7 pm to 8 pm – Dinner
  • 10.30 –Light off

FEE

A/C Rooms:

  • Single Occupancy: €1960
  • Double Occupancy: €1665 per person

Non-A/C Rooms:

  • Single Occupancy: €1665
  • Double Occupancy: €1517 per person

The tariff includes the course fee, study materials, certification, food, and accommodation. It does not include flight tickets, airport pickups and drop-offs, laundry, day tours, tours before or after the course, any other transport costs, or students’ personal miscellaneous expenses.

REGISTRATION

To register, please complete your application using the link provided or reach out to us at info@ayuryogaacademy.com. Once you receive confirmation from our center, secure your spot by making a non-refundable deposit of 300 Euros, plus any applicable transaction fees.

CANCELLATION

Currently, this facility is not available, so please make sure to carefully consider your decision before submitting the course deposit. The remaining balance can be settled upon arrival.

 

ACCOMMODATION & FOOD

Accommodation, meals, and all yogic activities and studies are conveniently provided on-site. We offer three vegetarian meals daily. Please note that non-vegetarian food, alcoholic beverages, and any form of drug use are strictly prohibited on campus
