This course is open to anyone with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, as it is the medium of instruction. Physical and mental fitness is essential, and applicants with health issues are required to disclose their medical history during the application process.

200 Hours Hatha Yoga teacher training course incorporates a variety of topics
Asana: Intermediate-level Hatha Yoga postures including joint movements, standing, supine, prone (backbends, forward bends, twists), inversions, and balancing.
Pranayama: Techniques such as Udar, Vaksha, Griva Svashan, Yogic breathing, Kapalabhati, Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari, and Ujjayi.
Mudra & Bandha: Energy-focused gestures and locks (e.g., Jalandhara Bandha).
Satkarma: Body cleansing practices (e.g., Jala Neti).
Meditation: Practices including Yoga Nidra, breath awareness, inner silence (Antarmouna), body stillness, and mantra meditation (e.g., AUM).
Chanting & Sound: Mantra chanting and sound awareness through singing bowls.
Anatomy: Overview of skeletal and muscular systems, joint types, and movement.
Physiology: Nervous, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and endocrine systems in relation to yoga; stress response and vagal theory.
Biomechanics: Joint stability, movement safety, adaptations, and contraindications.
Electives & Additional Topics: Modern physiology insights, effects of Pranayama, sequencing, and Ayurveda’s tri-dosha basics.
History: Yoga’s evolution from Vedic times to modern revival; focus on asana, pranayama, and meditation lineages.
Philosophy: Key concepts from scriptures (Yoga Sutras, Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika); major yoga branches and systems (e.g., Kundalini, Raja Yoga), meditation theory, and self-reflection.
Ethics: Yoga Sutras, ethical teaching practices, accountability, and inclusivity.
Elective: Exploration of AUM and inner sound.
Teaching Methodology: Sequencing, class management, cueing, and setting.
