COURSE OVERVIEW

Immerse yourself in a fully residential, comprehensive 200-hour training that integrates both theoretical and practical elements of Hatha Yoga, staying true to its ancient traditions. This program covers Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, Meditation, Mantra, and cleansing techniques, providing you with a deep and thorough understanding of these time-honoured practices. You’ll be empowered to explore yoga within your own limits and potential, gaining the confidence and skills necessary to teach it effectively. Upon completing the course, you’ll receive a Yoga Alliance-accredited certificate, opening doors to various opportunities in the ever-growing yoga industry. This course is open to anyone with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, as it is the medium of instruction. Physical and mental fitness is essential, and applicants with health issues are required to disclose their medical history during the application process.

SYLLABUS

200 Hours Hatha Yoga teacher training course incorporates a variety of topics

Asana: Intermediate-level Hatha Yoga postures including joint movements, standing, supine, prone (backbends, forward bends, twists), inversions, and balancing.

Pranayama: Techniques such as Udar, Vaksha, Griva Svashan, Yogic breathing, Kapalabhati, Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari, and Ujjayi.

Mudra & Bandha: Energy-focused gestures and locks (e.g., Jalandhara Bandha).

Satkarma: Body cleansing practices (e.g., Jala Neti).

Meditation: Practices including Yoga Nidra, breath awareness, inner silence (Antarmouna), body stillness, and mantra meditation (e.g., AUM).

Chanting & Sound: Mantra chanting and sound awareness through singing bowls.

 

Anatomy: Overview of skeletal and muscular systems, joint types, and movement.

Physiology: Nervous, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and endocrine systems in relation to yoga; stress response and vagal theory.

Biomechanics: Joint stability, movement safety, adaptations, and contraindications.

Electives & Additional Topics: Modern physiology insights, effects of Pranayama, sequencing, and Ayurveda’s tri-dosha basics.

History: Yoga’s evolution from Vedic times to modern revival; focus on asana, pranayama, and meditation lineages.

Philosophy: Key concepts from scriptures (Yoga Sutras, Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika); major yoga branches and systems (e.g., Kundalini, Raja Yoga), meditation theory, and self-reflection.

Ethics: Yoga Sutras, ethical teaching practices, accountability, and inclusivity.

Elective: Exploration of AUM and inner sound.

Teaching Methodology: Sequencing, class management, cueing, and setting.

Professional Development: Yoga Alliance processes, ethics, professionalism, and business fundamentals (insurance, invoicing, etc.).

Electives: Marketing, online teaching, promotion strategies.

Practicum: Teaching skills development, mentorship, sequencing integration (asana, pranayama, meditation), and feedback.

  • 5 am – wake up
  • 6 am to 7.30 am – Asana practice
  • 7.30 am to 8 am – Pranayama
  • 8.30 am to 9.30 am – Break fast
  • 10.30.am to 11.30pm – Theory session 1
  • 11.30 pm to 12.30 pm – Theory session 2
  • 12.30 pm to 1.15 pm – Theory session 3
  • 1.15 to 2pm – Lunch
  • 3.pm to 4pm – Lecture /Theory/Yoga Nidra
  • 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm – Asana, Alignment and Adjustments (theory and practical training, teaching practices)
  • 7 pm to 8 pm – Dinner
  • 8pm to 9pm – Kirtan, Chanting and video show etc. (optional session)/ discussion/games
  • 9pm – 10 pm – Practice of silence
  • 10.30 –Light off

  • Double Occupancy: €1490 per person.

Non-A/C Rooms:

  • Single Occupancy: €1500
  • Double Occupancy: €1368 per person

FOR INDIAN STUDENTS

  • Single Occupancy: ₹50000
  • Double Occupancy: ₹40000 per person.

The tariff includes the course fee, study materials, yoga mat, certification, food, and accommodation. It does not include flight tickets, airport pickups and drop-offs, laundry, day tours, tours before or after the course, any other transport costs, or students’ personal miscellaneous expenses.
